Which is true. :)

I was reading the other day about the PowerPC 601, 603(e) and 604(e). I
read that the 603 is in fact not that much of an improvement over the 601,
except it has a better cache system. Mind you the mask revisions will
obviously come in to play. As it turns out; a 604 is in fact a *lot* faster
than *603*, which is quite mind boggling. :) I read that the 603 doesn't
actually have a twin cache system (ie: just a cache; no instr or data) where
as the 604 does like the 68030/40/60. Quite strange. :) And the 'e', well
that just means its more energy efficient.

Am I correct in guessing that the 603e in Blizzard PPCs is the rev. 2 mask?
I have heard that rev. 3 masks go up to 350MHz.

I never really considered the 603 was 'slower'; but it is indeed a hell of
of lot faster, perhaps double even!!
